Features:
Before you start

• When using Ronseal's 3-in-1 Basecoat make sure your room is above 10°C and open a window to keep it ventilated. Cold weather can stop the paint from drying properly. Cover anything you don’t want to get painted over.
• Get rid of any loose paint or plaster by giving it a quicksand. Wipe the area you’re going to paint with a damp cloth to make sure it’s clean and free from dust.

Application

• Give it a really good stir. Then use a roller or brush to put it on. It’ll be touch dry in 2 hours. Extra coats may be required when making dramatic colour changes. After 4 hours it’ll be ready to paint over.

Clean up

• Take as much paint off your brush or roller as you can. Wash in warm soapy water.
  
• Don’t empty leftover paint into drains or watercourses. Instead, contact your local authority, who may have particular ways to get rid of unused paint.
